A roadside emergency kit is a good thing to add to your vehicle. It could help you when you are stranded, and it could help save lives.
A brief description and a brief reason to have them in the kit would help.
  • A flashlight in case the emergency is in the dark. Road flares to warn traffic. Reflectors for traffic direction.
  • A first aid kit would help if there are injuries to deal with. Gauze, tape, sterile bandages, pain killer, antiseptic ointment, and even antibiotics if available.
  • Jumper cables to help start your car or another car.
  • Unopened bottled water and non-perishable snacks would help if the emergency last longer than thought.
  • A gas can and some cash to purchase gasoline.
  • A cell phone charger and a portable radio with extra batteries.
There are a few of the items we could think of at the moment. You might find other items that you think would be appropriate. Se your dealer for more tips on what to have in an emergency kit.
