What is the Ford AXZ plan?
The AXZ plan from Ford Motor Company is a special pricing program that's designed to reward current and past Ford employees, their families and friends. The A plan is for current Ford employees, the Z plan is for Ford retirees and the X plan is for spouses, friends and neighbors of Ford employees and retirees. What is the Ford A plan?
Ford A plan pricing is designed especially for current Ford employees and that includes those living in local communities like Liberty and Gladstone. It's available for all active full-time hourly and regular salaried employees starting with the date you're hired. Salaried retirees are eligible while they're getting benefits. Surviving spouses of employees who died while they were actively employed and surviving spouses of retired employees are also eligible. This is just a partial list of the people who are eligible for the A plan but the list also includes immediate family members of the Ford employee or retiree like the spouse, parents, grandparents, grandchildren and brothers and sisters.
How is the Ford A plan discount calculated?
To illustrate, let's calculate the price of the popular Ford F-150 XL model. Let's assume the MSRP is $37,120 and the invoice will then be $35,375. The plan then deducts the destination fee of $1355, the ad fee of $716 and the holdback fee of $1074. Bottom line, your discounted price with the A plan will be $33,860. That's a savings of $1500 on America's most popular pickup for anyone who's eligible for the Ford A plan.
What is the Ford Z plan?
The Z plan is designed for Ford retirees and because it's identical to the A plan, the two plans are sometimes referred together as the A/Z plan. Spouses and surviving spouses of retirees are also eligible for the Z plan. Like A plan participants, anyone covered by the Ford Z plan can access four PINs every calendar year. So the generous new Ford vehicle discounts that are offered with the A plan are also available for Ford retirees and their spouses.
What is the Ford X plan?
The Ford X plan is also known as the Partner Recognition Program and it's offered by Ford Motor Company to employees, retirees and spouses of select Tier 1 suppliers, business partners, fleet partners and special organizations that have a unique relationship with the Ford Motor Company. An eligible employee or retiree can generate up to two PINs per calendar year that can be used toward the purchase or lease of a new Ford vehicle. Participation is by invitation only and is determined by Ford Motor Company.
