The 2025 Ford Maverick offers two available engines to get the power or efficiency you crave. Its standard turbocharged 238-horsepower four-cylinder engine has plenty of zip for passing on I-435 in Liberty, MO. The optional 191-horsepower hybrid engine earns up to 42 mpg city and 33 mpg highway when properly equipped. Both powertrains come standard with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available.
You can tow a small boat to Longview Lake near Gladstone with the Maverick, which has a towing capacity of 4,000 pounds when equipped with the optional Tow package. You can also haul up to 1500 pounds of payload in its 4.5-foot bed. If you enjoy exploring off-road areas, a Maverick Tremor trim is available with an off-road-tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, and Trail Control.
What's New for 2025?
